The Top 5 Things You Should Know

  1. Growing children aren't just miniature adults
Just like your pediatrician is a highly specialized doctor focused on the growth and development of your child, your pediatric dentist is a highly trained dentist with specific expertise in the oral/dental needs of developing children through young adulthood - and that includes behavior management techniques.  You'll find that pediatric dentists are trained beyond what you'll find with a general dentist - and that makes a big difference for little patients.
  2. No two children are alike
Every child is unique - they have different needs, different interests, and different challenges.  If you want your child to be successful at the dentist, we need to treat them uniquely.  Our practice prides itself on the fact that we try to understand as much as we can about each one of our patients - and we then try and treat them with that knowledge.  This guiding principle is behind our tagline of Children's Dentistry...with a Mother's Touch.
  3. State-of-the-art matters
Our patients deserve the best care possible - and state-of-the-art technology is a critical part of that care.  We are proud  that our office is a chartless environment - we have leveraged technology to ensure that important information about your child's health and needs are readily accessible.  Our office has embraced digital x-rays and the best materials available to ensure optimum care for your child.  We have recently invested in new state-of-the-art sterilization equipment in addition to new chairs and dental equipment.  From our iPads to our pediatric-sized x-ray sensors, our goal is to provide your child with the best care possible.
  4. Education is key
Continuing education is a critical element of what makes our staff unique.  Aside from being caring, family-centered people, our staff seeks out certifications and training to offer the best care possible to your child.  All of our doctors have undergone the rigorous training to become Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.  Our clinical staff annually attends Yankee Dental Congress and/or the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Annual Conference.  We believe that exceptional care starts with excellent knowledge.
  5. We LOVE what we do
And that pretty much says it all.  Our entire staff loves what they do - from the front desk to the clinical staff to our pediatric dentists.  We've chosen this profession because we love children, we love dentistry and we believe that it is possible to help raise a generation of children who look forward to going to the dentist rather than fearing it.  Our goal is to create beautiful smiles for a lifetime.

We hope that gives you a sense of what we're all about.  We invite you to explore our website for more information - or please give our office a call at (781) 383 0003 to set up an appointment!
